Training Description: As you know, you have a unique opportunity to create relationships with the children and families in your care.  While this may not always be easy, it is vital to form relationships with infants and toddlers by providing responsive and respectful care through reciprocal interactions.  Teachers engage in these interactions through one-on-one time, making the most of routine times throughout the day, and having intentional and interactive conversations, even with the youngest of infants! This workshop will provide participants with the foundation of what responsive caregiving looks like with infants and toddlers, share strategies for making the most of every moment and interaction, and challenge the participants to create a plan to implement when they return to their own classrooms.
