GAEYC offers a variety of training opportunities to help teachers and directors build their skills and competencies to provide high-quality care and education for young children.
Training for Teachers and Directors
Super Saturdays: Our Super Saturday programs provide training for ECE teachers on beginning-level topics, such as health and safety, guidance and discipline, brain development, and a wide variety of other areas. In 2018, we are planning an Infant Toddler Super Saturday in the winter/spring. Our 2017 Super Saturday was about working with infants and toddlers and was held in May in Alpharetta, Georgia. Our PreConference Institute on Implicit Bias is geared toward directors and program administrators.
The GAEYC Annual Together for Children Conference is our biggest professional development event, with more than 150 sessions for teachers and directors. The conference is held in different locations around Metro Atlanta each fall. Learn more on the conference page.
