GAYC Executive Director Pat Minish is retiring in January after 17 years. We celebrated Pat’s long-standing leadership in Georgia and her many accomplishments at the GAYC Awards Banquet on Friday, October 11. GAYC President Laurel Beckham presented Pat with a vase, and announced that the Advocate of the Year award will be renamed in her honor beginning in 2014. Pat’s son, daughter-in-law, and grandson also surprised her with a bouquet of roses. Congratulations, Pat! We thank you for all you’ve done, look forward to spending the next few months with you, and wish you well in your retirement.
